Disciple Making Theology Matters

TCM International is leading a track called “Disciple Making Theology Matters,” which focuses on the importance of a theology of disciple making in our world today.

TCM International exists to develop Christian leaders for significant service through higher learning. We provide disciple making training at Mentoring Centers around the world. Through the financial support of individuals and churches, we provide disciple making leadership education that is affordable, accessible, accredited, and practical. In keeping with Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations, we are expanding our reach beyond Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East, so that every nation will have effective leaders of disciple making movements impacting their churches, cultures, and countries for Christ. With the help of Michael Bates, Bobby Harrington, Bill Hull, David Roadcup, and David Young, we will prayerfully and thoughtfully consider practical ways we can more deeply impact our churches, cultures, and countries for Christ.

This is one of the largest gatherings of disciple makers in North America with 65+ workshops, 30+ speakers, and 10+ tracks. Join us to learn practical ways to make disciples of Jesus this November 9-10. Register for the 2017 National Disciple Making Forum here.

TCM International Institute was founded in 1957 by Gene and Lenore Dulin as Toronto Christian Mission, an organization that provided Bibles, Christian literature, training, and benevolence for national Christian leaders within the Soviet bloc countries. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, those leaders asked that TCM continue to partner with them by providing advanced training for their church leaders and disciple makers. What began as informal training and the “Summer Seminary,” became—over time—the Higher Learning Commission accredited TCM International Institute that it is today.

Currently, there are more than 1,000 disciple makers from over 44 nations in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, who study at TCM in a variety of programs including the Certificate, Master of Arts, and Master of Divinity. Along with more than 600 graduates, many of these disciple makers are leading disciple making movements around the globe.

Leading this track is Dr. Tony Twist, whose passion is seeing churches, organizations, and individual believers mature in healthy, kingdom-focus ways, fulfilling Jesus’ great commission with growing love. He has served as President of TCM International since 1989 and is the second President since it was founded in 1957 as a church planting and benevolence organization working behind the Iron Curtain.
